Private family philanthropy
The Tsukanov Family Foundation supports initiatives in education, culture, and community wellbeing — guided by integrity, partnership, and a long-term vision for positive change.
"Philanthropy is not merely giving — it is investing in the future we wish to see."
The Tsukanov Family FoundationAbout us
Based in the heart of London, we channel resources toward initiatives that create measurable, meaningful outcomes.
The Tsukanov Family Foundation was established to formalise the family's commitment to philanthropy — supporting organisations and projects that align with our values and demonstrate clear social impact.
From our offices at Audley House on Davies Street, we work with charities, educational institutions, cultural organisations, and community groups across the United Kingdom and internationally.
We believe effective philanthropy requires patience, due diligence, and genuine partnership. Our approach emphasises transparency, accountability, and respect for the communities we serve.
Our priorities
Three interconnected areas guide our grant-making and partnership decisions.
Primary focus
Scholarships, literacy programmes, skills development, and initiatives that remove barriers to learning for underserved communities.
Supporting museums, performing arts, preservation projects, and creative programmes that enrich public life.
Health, housing, social inclusion, and local initiatives that strengthen neighbourhoods and support vulnerable groups.
What we do
Financial support for registered charities and qualifying organisations whose work aligns with our mission and meets our evaluation criteria.
Multi-year collaborations with institutions and nonprofits for sustained impact beyond one-off donations.
Helping grantees strengthen governance, reporting, and organisational effectiveness.
Board oversight, site visits, and direct involvement in select initiatives reflecting family values.
Convening stakeholders and sharing learnings to improve philanthropic practice across our network.
Our approach
A clear process from first conversation to ongoing relationship.
Organisations submit an initial overview of their work and funding needs.
We assess alignment, governance, and potential for meaningful impact.
Meetings and due diligence to understand context and objectives.
Board consideration and transparent communication of outcomes.
Funding, reporting, and relationship beyond the grant period.
Grants
We look for organisations that demonstrate clarity, capability, and commitment to measurable outcomes.
Work must clearly connect to education, culture, or community wellbeing — our three priority areas.
Registered status, transparent finances, and accountable leadership structures.
Defined objectives and a credible plan for tracking and reporting results.
Projects that build lasting capacity, not dependency on short-term funding alone.
Willingness to partner openly and share learnings with the foundation.
Primarily UK-based work; international projects considered on a case-by-case basis.
We measure success not only in pounds granted, but in lives improved, communities strengthened, and opportunities created. The Tsukanov Family Foundation
